Best Survival Game Anime You Should Watch


Game and anime as we all know are best combos. Game anime has a way of enticing people (audience), they are set to share their love for games and see how certain characters develop strategies, effective decision, perseverance and courage. Game anime has a way of bringing all these to the requirements of thier audience. Either card games, board games or Virtual Reality games (VR games). Different Game anime also has its way of showing fierce competition, romance, strategies and logical reasoning and also its psychological aspect. Watching how certain characters are able to master skills, face setbacks and overcome challenges.

Darwin's Game.


A Deadly Game, Darwin's Game is a survival game where players are given some superpowers known as Sigils. They can challenge each other for points which can be converted into cash, and killing your opponent gives you all of their points.
17-year-old high school second-year student, Kaname Sudō accepts an online invitation by a friend to play an app game called Darwin's Game, unknown to them has an evolutionary (Darwinism) ability that varies from player to player. The game is a game of life and death; if you die in the game you die in the real world as well.Those who play the game are given a Sigil, an ability that varies from player to player.a evolutionary (Darwinism) ability that varies from player to player and only the most skillful players will be able to clear the game and survive. Kaname decides to clear the game, find the inventors of the game and take retaliation upon them.Genre, action.

Terror in Resonance 


The story follows 2 teens who are geniuses (Nine and Twelve), They are two of the survivors of a secret experiment by the Rising Peace Academy to develop orphaned children with savant syndrome to turn them into human weapons. And by terrorist acts, want the world to know about secrets the government of japan is hiding. Along the line they came in contact with another fellow Lisa Mishima. Lisa is a quiet girl who is easily bullied due to her clumsy behavior and introverted nature.She feels like she has the same connection with twelve and nine She then eventually ends up in the mess the other two had created, but shows courage and perseverance despite certain setbacks.
Tokyo has been wiped out by a terrorist attack, and the only clue to the culprit's identity is a strange trigger on this world.Genre psychological thriller 

Tomodachi Game 


Yūichi Katagiri was taught the value of friendship when he was young, and it is thanks to his group of four friends that he is able to enjoy high school life today. When their class's school trip funds are stolen,suspicion falls on two of Yuuichi's friends: Shiho Sawaragi and Makoto Shibe, who were in charge of collecting the payments for the school trip. Although innocent, Shiho and Makoto take responsibility for the failure to protect the money when no one is found responsible. 

A few days later, Yuuichi and his friends receive mysterious letters which manoeuvre each of them into meeting up. Upon arrival, they are ambushed and knocked unconscious. They wake up in a mysterious room in the presence of "Manabu-kun," a character from a controversial children's show that stopped airing due to its malevolent content. He informs the group that one of them indirectly gathered them together in order to settle a large debt. 

They are to play a "friendship game": a series of games that will test the strength of their bond and trust in each other. As the group's faith wavers due to the growing number of secrets and betrayals, Yuuichi must figure out who of his "friends" he can actually trust and ultimately discover the identity of the back-stabber. Genre, psychological thriller.

Alice in Borderland



 Ryohei Arisu is a young man who finds it difficult to relate with his family and spends time hanging out with his friends, Daikichi Karube and Chōta Segawa. Arisu and Chota are often immature and do not try at school, whilst Karube manages a bar and persuades the two to get their lives together. The three are at a train station when they see fireworks so blinding they have to cover their eyes, and when they open them they find themselves back in Karube's bar, which is now abandoned and all of the buildings covered in flora (vegetation). 

The three get drunk and play games together, but Karube becomes worried and asked the pair to take things seriously. After walking into what seems to be an empty festival, they are greeted by Saori Shibuki who tells them that they have already "entered their game". The game is 'Three of Clubs' named 'Good Fortune Bad Fortune' where they have to answer dubious questions and if they get it wrong flaming arrows are shot at them. Karube and Shibuki argue, causing Chota to have to guess the answer quickly and have arrows fired at them. 

The questions continue, and Chota's leg is severely burned. Shibuki reveals to them that, in Borderland, they must play games to survive, with the number of each game the number of days they have until they have to play another game. Shibuki arrived in the Borderlands several days earlier where she played 'Two of Hearts' and was the only survivor, mortifying her. Due to Chota's injury, Shibuki volunteers to stay behind to tend to him while the other two go into the 'Five of Spades', other players include climber Yuzuha Usagi and sly player Shuntaro Chishiya. 

Only those four survive the game, with Arisu and Usagi managing to complete it together. Arisu, Karube, Chota and Shibuki enter the 'Seven of Hearts' game where it's revealed only one can survive, the other three all decide sacrifice themselves for Arisu. As Arisu remains in hopelessness, he meets Usagi again, she takes pity on him and they decide to partner up.

The pair begin looking for the 'Beach' which was a place Karube had discovered before his death. They discover and are forced to join the ranks of the "Beach", which is a large hotel filled with players run by the "Mad Hatter" who wishes to collect all the cards from the game's deck and believes that collecting them would bring them back to their world. 

Several games later however, the Mad Hatter is killed and the Beach is turned into the game stage for the Ten of Hearts, the final game of the first stage. Following the clearance of the game, the gamemasters reveal themselves and announce a second stage, where they have to compete in games of the face cards to complete the Borderlands. Genre, supernatural horror, survival, suspense.

Deadman Wonderland 



A massive abnormality caused a great earthquake that ravaged Japan's mainland and destroyed most of Tokyo, sinking three-quarters of the city into the Pacific Ocean.

Ten years later, Ganta Igarashi is a seemingly ordinary 9th grader attending Nagano Prefecture's middle school who survived the great earthquake, leaving him with a normal life and no memories of the tragedy. This all changes when a mysterious person covered in blood and crimson armor floats through his classroom windows and slaughters his entire class, but spares Ganta.
 Ganta, the sole survivor of the brutal murder of his entire class, is framed and ends up falsely convicted for it. During the mass slaughter the real killer embeds a red crystal in him. 

Ganta is sent to a privately owned prison which has a rather different and perverted take on imprisonment, entertaining the masses by performing dangerous games in exchange for privileges. Every inmate he encounters has their own goals, survival being the main one, and it is now up to him to survive this and maybe even prove his innocence.The anime genre action, dystopian (dystopic)
